Kerry Flöter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Betão de Amaral having to make a save. Hector Ruiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão de Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Ruiz ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, SAPRIMECKBEL's Frank Mora got control of the ball when Elder Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Luz to maneuver through the defense. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Flöter in the 18th minute of the match. Frederico Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Frank Mora made a huge save. Kerry Flöter scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betão de Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Luz in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elder Luz in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Mora saved SAPRIMECKBEL from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Kerry Flöter made a precise shot to the right of Betão de Amaral. S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elder Luz got free with Frank Mora in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lei Cheng Yao fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAPRIMECKBEL's protests and gave Lei Cheng Yao a yellow card for diving instead. Frank Mora was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Filipe de Souza. In the 44th minute, Elder Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorival Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kerry Flöter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Jaime Quiros came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the SAPRIMECKBEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Quiros couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Kerry Flöter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Flöter came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kerry Flöter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerry Flöter took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão de Amaral. Betão de Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Kerry Flöter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kerry Flöter. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Flöter in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Dorival Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerry Flöter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Betão de Amaral having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Cesar Larra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kerry Flöter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Betão de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SAPRIMECKBEL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
