Betão de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Nilmar do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tim Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. SJÖARED's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Hellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Betão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Göransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tim Hellbom who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Lidman in the 25th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Elias Vianna. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 29th minute of the match. Sture Göransson struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Betão de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SJÖARED. In the 34th minute Kaj Ekegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Lidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Emanuel Secco hit a great ball. Tim Hellbom didn't quite understand what happened when in the 45 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorival Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. Sture Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Elder Luz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dorival Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Sture Göransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão de Amaral came out of the goal and Sture Göransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Betão de Amaral was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Sture Göransson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sture Göransson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Kaj Ekegren struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Ekegren in the 66th minute of play. SJÖARED's Isak Qvarnström got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Isak Qvarnström took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Betão de Amaral to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, SJÖARED's Karl-Oskar Lundberg got a free kick in the 80th minute. Filipe de Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe de Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filipe de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sture Göransson 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. With an all-out effort, SJÖARED's Betão de Amaral threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kaj Ekegren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute Kaj Ekegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes SJÖARED got a freekick which was hit by Isak Qvarnström. The crowd rose to their feet as Sture Göransson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betão de Amaral. That made the score 0-4 in the 96 minute of play. SJÖARED played a much better game than S.E. Cachoeirinha and deserved their victory. The S.E. Cachoeirinha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
