Éthan Pichard succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Teodor Covaci might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão de Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodor Covaci ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Dorival Veloso got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Betão de Amaral. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. After 23 minutes, Éthan Pichard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Bad Harzburg and the S.E. Cachoeirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Silvestre Loi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Éthan Pichard came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Éthan Pichard couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Loi might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão de Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvestre Loi ran back to his position shaking his head. Jurek Ohrem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Éthan Pichard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Éthan Pichard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Betão de Amaral having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch got control of the ball when Frederico Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Emanuel Secco fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Cachoeirinha's protests and gave Emanuel Secco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Emanuel Secco got a free kick in the 61st minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betão de Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvestre Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Betão de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Éthan Pichard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Éthan Pichard came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Éthan Pichard was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Bad Harzburg's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SV Bad Harzburg's corner Éthan Pichard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Betão de Amaral quite easily take care of the ball. When Takeshi Bieberstein came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takeshi Bieberstein couldn't finish the play. SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Loi came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Silvestre Loi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão de Amaral came out of the goal and Silvestre Loi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 minutes, Éthan Pichard made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's Teodor Covaci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betão de Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Loi in the 93rd minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodor Covaci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SV Bad Harzburg fully deserved thier win.
