The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Augustin got free with Mateusz Hajto in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcu Bârsan charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcu Bârsan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Sepsiszentgyörgy got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Bârsan. In the 24th minute Andrzej Harbaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Ennegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dinu Augustin to make the kick off. Mateusz Hajto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinu Augustin's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Witold Bycofski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Ennegren having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Sepsiszentgyörgy's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Bycofski came free, but Kjell Ennegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 59th minute of play forced Sepsiszentgyörgy's goalkeeper Kjell Ennegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateusz Hajto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Ekblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 63rd minute of play forced Sepsiszentgyörgy's goalkeeper Kjell Ennegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Augustin in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateusz Hajto saved Nieciece from getting behind. Andrzej Harbaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nieciece made a substitution. Miromir Kazanowski replaced Cyryl Skonieczny. After a rather tough play, Nieciece's Hans-Cees Roordink got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Witold Bycofski might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell Ennegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witold Bycofski ran back to his position shaking his head. Sepsiszentgyörgy's Anton Bucur was substituted for Costel Stolnicu. Mateusz Hajto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Merișor in the 79th minute of the match. Dinu Augustin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mateusz Hajto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Merișor in the 85th minute of play forced Nieciece's goalkeeper Mateusz Hajto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Dinu Augustin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Hajto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Nieciece got a freekick which was hit by Hans-Cees Roordink. In the 94th minute, Samuel Wallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
