In the 3rd match minute, Xeneizes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Bidun to maneuver through the defense. Štefan Semeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qi Xun went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj. But to his dismay, Tomáš Požgaj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 17th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavko Mojsovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Štefan Semeno having to interfere. Qi Xun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Štefan Semeno made a huge save. Štefan Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Rinaldi in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Žigmund Csontos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Xeneizes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Požgaj came free, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Požgaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Everardo Bidun with Qi Xun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Qi Xun's late challenge caught a AFK Petržalka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Qi Xun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes's Qi Xun got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Igor Bališ had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo. Xeneizes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Bališ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Qi Xun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xeneizes's supporters rose to their feet, but Qi Xun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Štefan Semeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Xeneizes's goal looked a bit too open when Žigmund Csontos came free, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žigmund Csontos in the 61st minute of play. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Žigmund Csontos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes Xeneizes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Bališ who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on AFK Petržalka's corner Igor Bališ fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xeneizes's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Štefan Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qi Xun in the 68th minute of play. Štefan Semeno came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Xeneizes's Qi Xun. But to his dismay, Qi Xun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák was substituted for Tomáš Požgaj. Xeneizes's Fulgencio Peru was substituted for Qi Xun. Xeneizes made a substitution. Aaron Tiso replaced Diego Rinaldi. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Xeneizes's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo got control of the ball when Michal Hudák tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viktor Seno made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Xeneizes's Everardo Bidun. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slavko Mojsovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Fulgencio Peru sped through AFK Petržalka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Štefan Semeno. Xeneizes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AFK Petržalka for a fine match.
