Slawomir Czerwinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Araújo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. LRCA Office Club's Slawomir Czerwinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Araújo in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Mota came free, but Timmy Standaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slawomir Czerwinski had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Matias Araújo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 18th minute of the match OMONOIA got a corner. LRCA Office Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo Zanette ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mário Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LRCA Office Club! Slawomir Czerwinski went to the wrong direction when Seilenos Chrysanthopoulos was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Matias Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Slawomir Czerwinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, LRCA Office Club's David Söderlund got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes, Arnaldo Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LRCA Office Club and the OMONOIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, LRCA Office Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Mota to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes LRCA Office Club got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Cosme. 43 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Araújo came free, but Slawomir Czerwinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavino Gómez's late challenge caught a OMONOIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavino Gómez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LRCA Office Club getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gustavino Gómez hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Matias Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Araújo to strike the kick off in the second half. Slawomir Czerwinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Araújo in the 53rd minute of play. Slawomir Czerwinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Marz in the 55th minute of the match. Matias Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gustavino Gómez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. The supporters of OMONOIA booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavino Gómez didn't get a good kick on the ball. OMONOIA made a substitution. Innokentiy Bugakov replaced Seilenos Chrysanthopoulos. In the 66th minute, Gustavino Gómez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Matias Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OMONOIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Matias Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Czerwinski having to interfere. If Eduardo Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Araújo in the 84th minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Slawomir Czerwinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slawomir Czerwinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. Slawomir Czerwinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Araújo in the 89th minute of play. Matias Araújo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slawomir Czerwinski. Slawomir Czerwinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
