Despite this Elias Selatse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roni Coryn in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Selatse saved Deportivo Tachito from getting behind. Elias Selatse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Leerbels in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Tachito's Elias Selatse got control of the ball when Bob Leerbels tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Roni Coryn lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Elias Selatse. Belmiro Arruda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Dauwen having to make a save. Elias Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Deportivo Tachito's attentive Robert Rojas managed to snatch the ball when Roy Voet made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belmiro Arruda made a kick off. Elias Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Charlie Vercalsteren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Selatse skillfully saved the ball. Deportivo Tachito's Elias Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karel Christiaens in the 95th minute of play. The Deportivo Tachito players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
