In the 12th minute Jan Koller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Czech in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Club Getafe Deportivo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Xulian Calvo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Xiao Yang Xuan got a free kick in the 27th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Maciej Mielcarz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 31 minutes in the game, Henrico Del Bosque fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maciej Mielcarz having to interfere. Curcio Carballeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute, Curcio Carballeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Handi Vidales got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Czech to make the kick off. Xulian Calvo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Jan Koller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Club Getafe Deportivo from getting a goal against them. Curcio Carballeira scored 1-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maciej Mielcarz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Getafe Deportivo's Vlad Ţăranu was substituted for Henrico Del Bosque. In the 78th minute, Głodne Ghule's Jan Koller dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Maciej Mielcarz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Koller in the 84th minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Głodne Ghule got a corner. Club Getafe Deportivo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Koller ran over to the corner to take the kick. Głodne Ghule's Jan Koller was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jairo Castellano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Szymon Pilipiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Głodne Ghule's supporters rose to their feet, but Szymon Pilipiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Castellano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Víctor Feal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Głodne Ghule players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Getafe Deportivo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
