The GG Team FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 5th minute when Bernardo Scandella elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bartlomiej Pleban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wit Literski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Scandella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Keyes's goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Marcou came free, but Wit Literski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Keyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Marajda to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Maciej Kaznocha's long shot passed Wit Literski's right side. It was 0-3, 16 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Emil Bienienda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernardo Scandella might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wit Literski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Scandella ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the game, GG Team FC's Hassan Marcou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wit Literski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Keyes's zone, Hassan Marcou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Literski came out of the goal and Hassan Marcou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Witalis Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Montini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by GG Team FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Witalis Barna was slow to take the kick. During this time Keyes's players had a chance to rest. Fortunato Montini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witalis Barna's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Wit Literski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Scandella, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes GG Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Elia Guerini. Bartlomiej Pleban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Montini having to interfere. If Bernardo Scandella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wit Literski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Scandella in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Keyes getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Wiktor Fujara hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, GG Team FC's Bernardo Scandella dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Wit Literski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Scandella, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Bernardo Scandella managed to get in a good position for a shot. GG Team FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Scandella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wit Literski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bernardo Scandella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wit Literski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Scandella, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Bartlomiej Pleban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GG Team FC's Maciej Kaznocha got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave De Bartolo in the 81st minute of play forced Keyes's goalkeeper Wit Literski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, GG Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Pleban came free, but Fortunato Montini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wit Literski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. When the match was over GG Team FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Keyes throughout the match.
