With an all-out effort, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's 龙挺卫 threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ralf Saarloos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vladimiro Figueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 龙挺卫 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 龙挺卫 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Sampil in the 26th minute of the match. Daniel Sbârcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Karlberg in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vladimiro Figueira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Karlberg in the 37th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Daniel Sbârcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Burton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Daniel Sbârcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Kennet Sävström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Nicolás Grau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás Grau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

In the 57th minute Alex Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sbârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moisés Queiroga got free with Daniel Sbârcea in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orihuela Club de Fútbol.
