Quentin Gonzalez started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Atlético Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Canor came free, but Zarando Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zarando Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahmat Aswatama, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sentinel's Yaya Kunaefi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Gonzalez in the 17th minute of play. Yaya Kunaefi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Rudolph Grieve with Anders Söderlund as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 28th minute Saul Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Lastras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zarando Lastras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Canor in the 28th minute of the match. Rahmat Aswatama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Zarando Lastras made a huge save. In the 36th match minute, Sentinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romelu Van Dijk to maneuver through the defense. Yaya Kunaefi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Hidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Zarando Lastras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Canor in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Atlético Maravilla got a corner. Sentinel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anders Söderlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Leopoldo de Queiroz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yaya Kunaefi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Canor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Anders Söderlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yaya Kunaefi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sentinel's Yaya Kunaefi got control of the ball when Quentin Gonzalez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Maravilla's goalkeeper Zarando Lastras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Anders Söderlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zarando Lastras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Canor in the 65th minute of play. Quentin Gonzalez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Yaya Kunaefi made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, Atlético Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Rahmat Aswatama came free, but Zarando Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, Atlético Maravilla's Leopoldo de Queiroz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yaya Kunaefi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zarando Lastras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahmat Aswatama in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Quentin Gonzalez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sentinel's Yaya Kunaefi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zarando Lastras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahmat Aswatama in the 92nd minute of the match. With 93 minutes on the clock, Budi Sudarsono commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 92nd minute, one of Sentinel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sentinel. The goalkeeper, Yaya Kunaefi, was totally fooled by Atlético Maravilla's Quentin Gonzalez, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Atlético Maravilla's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
