If Romulo Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Kennedy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Martin Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Arthur, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Santos Santio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Rosario's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Romulo Matia put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Santos Santio. Efrain Clodio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Santio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romulo Matia in the 32nd minute. Santos Santio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Rosario's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Teobaldo Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Santio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Matia in the 40th minute of play forced Chard United's goalkeeper Santos Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Rosario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Santio having to make a save. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chard United's goalkeeper Santos Santio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes in the game, Virgilio Kennedy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Martin Cordeal having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Chard United made a substitution. Martin Craven replaced Lamar Arthur. After a rather tough play, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's David Beckham Jr got a free kick in the 57th minute. Martin Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Kennedy in the 58th minute of play. Virgilio Kennedy scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Cordeal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Romulo Matia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santos Santio. Santos Santio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in C. S. D. Pueyrredón's zone, 孙骋磊 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Cordeal came out of the goal and 孙骋磊 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Rosario in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Santio saved Chard United from getting behind. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Halil İbrahim Yeltekin was substituted for Teobaldo Rosario. In the 78th minute Virgilio Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Chard United were awarded a corner. Lukasz Jazwiec went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Chard United's 孙骋磊 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Halil İbrahim Yeltekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Halil İbrahim Yeltekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Santio having to make a save. Santos Santio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil İbrahim Yeltekin in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Halil İbrahim Yeltekin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santos Santio. The goal made the score 2-3. Romulo Matia kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Kennedy came free, but Martin Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chard United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lukasz Jazwiec in the 97th minute. After taking down the ball on Chard United's corner Lukasz Jazwiec fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martin Cordeal quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C. S. D. Pueyrredón eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
