Abelardo Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Haroldo Alfonso made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Atlético y Tiro Rqta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxi Rodríguez to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalle Österberg.
