The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Severino Benino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvid Bremming was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 10 minutes into the game, Ingvar Kvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacri FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético y Tiro Rqta the free kick. In the 10th minute, Ingvar Kvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Juli Álvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's supporters rose to their feet, but Juli Álvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvid Bremming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Maxi Rodríguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 37th minute Severino Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvid Bremming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvid Bremming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxi Rodríguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Fredric Rudqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Benino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Severino Benino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Benino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Severino Benino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Arvid Bremming 56 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Sacri FC got a freekick which was hit by August Mattsson. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Erubiel Munio was substituted for Juli Álvarez. In the 59th match minute, Sacri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Erubiel Munio got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Leonard Kristiansson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Berenguer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Rudqvist in the 66th minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvid Bremming stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Benino's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Maxi Rodríguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sacri FC defense, Maxi Rodríguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvid Bremming. The Sacri FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvid Bremming should have stopped the shot. Sacri FC made a substitution. Max Sandström replaced Fredric Rudqvist. 80 minutes into the game, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Erubiel Munio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
