Matei Răducu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Anísio da Rocha with Ma Lang Liang as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 29 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Karanewski came free, but Osvaldo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carpathians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EDI MZB the free kick. After 40 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Feteanu. In the 48th minute Dennis Roelfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobald Karanewski made a kick off. In the 54th minute Teofil Pisarcik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Karanewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Gaspar in the 78th minute of the match. EDI MZB's Osvaldo Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save EDI MZB from getting a goal against them. Hortêncio Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Stefan Dobay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Stefan Dobay took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Osvaldo Neto to make any attempt to save it. EDI MZB were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carpathians for a fine match.
