The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandrinho Hoffmann got free with Eulalio Majua in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pang Chuan in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Majua saved Spartak de Txurdi from getting behind. In the 33rd minute of the match Estrela Solitária got a corner. Spartak de Txurdi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chicão Amorim ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zé Roberto Hermes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Leocadio Castro, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pang Chuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamim Dante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pang Chuan ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamim Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pang Chuan in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sandrinho Hoffmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eulalio Majua was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44thth minute of the game Pang Chuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Charro Revuelta made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerd Müller in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Majua saved Spartak de Txurdi from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luiz Ferreira during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamim Dante had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Leocadio Castro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eulalio Majua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerd Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerd Müller in the 76th minute of play forced Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Eulalio Majua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerd Müller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Majua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Estrela Solitária were awarded a corner. Chicão Amorim went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Estrela Solitária's corner Naldo Rossi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eulalio Majua quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pang Chuan in the 86th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Majua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dudu Meira's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Eulalio Majua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes in the game Leocadio Castro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Doğan Ferikoğlu. Benjamim Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charro Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Dudu Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamim Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pang Chuan in the 98th minute.
