In the 10th minute, Christiano Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenico Tellini got free with Sérgio Trevisan in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Esiquio in the 14th minute of play forced Cambridge Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Sérgio Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, All Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Machado came free, but Luizinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Esiquio took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Trevisan. Sérgio Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Emilian Şneapotă charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilian Şneapotă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emilian Şneapotă kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Sérgio Trevisan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Solchaga in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Solchaga got free with Sérgio Trevisan in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Cambridge Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Solchaga came free, but Sérgio Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizinho de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to All Boys getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jason Statham hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Carlos Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sérgio Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Solchaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cristian Vella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Trevisan was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Cambridge Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Solchaga came free, but Sérgio Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Trevisan came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by All Boys's Pablo Solchaga. But to his dismay, Pablo Solchaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Esiquio in the 68th minute of play forced Cambridge Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Sérgio Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Solchaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zé Carlos Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Solchaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Pablo Solchaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Solchaga in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cambridge Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Vella came free, but Sérgio Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cambridge Esporte Clube defense, Adan Platon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Trevisan. The Cambridge Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Trevisan should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the All Boys players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
