The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Célio Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Altamora FC's attentive Rodrigo Leão managed to snatch the ball when Ambrosio Tauro made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Célio Leite put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Azevedo. In the 22nd minute, Célio Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Trocha Media FC defense, Célio Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Azevedo. The Trocha Media FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Azevedo should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Trocha Media FC's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Leite came free, but Jacobo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Ambrosio Tauro in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Altamora FC's Rodrigo Leão. Célio Leite took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Azevedo. Jacobo Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Célio Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altamora FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Leite in the 35th minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Trocha Media FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Tiadoro. Jacobo Azevedo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Altamora FC's Célio Leite. But to his dismay, Célio Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Célio Leite came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Altamora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Leite couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Célio Leite put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Azevedo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Rufio made a kick off. Jacobo Azevedo was a little too slow when Célio Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-8. When Siro Orti fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trocha Media FC's protests and gave Siro Orti a yellow card for diving instead. 61 minutes into the match, Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Célio Leite. 65 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's Célio Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Altamora FC made a substitution. Osvaldo Vasques replaced Duarte Garcia. Siro Orti made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Altamora FC's Rodrigo Leão. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Célio Leite sped through Trocha Media FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Azevedo. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Hustaz came free, but Tiburcio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Célio Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Leite in the 83rd minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 98 minutes Trocha Media FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Higino lago who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Altamora FC's Maciej Pankowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Azevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Altamora FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trocha Media FC.
