CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Lucas Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Avellaneda in the 13th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Prospero Avellaneda made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Lucas Maciel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Gilbert Bonsaint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Benny Stolpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Bonsaint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Fausto Orlondon was substituted for Arnaldo Elivareo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Basajaun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gilbert Bonsaint reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benny Stolpe. The goal made the score 1-5. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLAYMORE COUNTRY the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. BOCA JUNIORS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! C.A. BOCA JUNIORS:s Benny Stolpe showed great skill when he stopped Gilbert Bonsaint:s penalty. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Gilbert Bonsaint was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Gilbert Bonsaint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benny Stolpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Bonsaint, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With an all-out effort, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Benny Stolpe threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilbert Bonsaint, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Benny Stolpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. BOCA JUNIORS from getting a goal against them.
