Gebrüdersdorfer SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo-Nicolas von der Putten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Øverås breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Lionel Mesías notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Daustad's Jo Øverås. Jo Øverås was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daustad's Alberigo Mancini was substituted for Kevin Bernini. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Bonet to strike the kick off in the second half. Jo Øverås dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Mats Bentsen got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Leandro Txanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peng Song Ting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Stanislaw Tyszka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daustad's Luis Bonet got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Daustad's Luis Bonet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanislaw Tyszka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Lionel Mesías cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jo Øverås was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gebrüdersdorfer SV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mats Bentsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Daustad's players had a chance to rest. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gebrüdersdorfer SV were victorious despite being under pressure from Daustad for much of the match.
