Leo Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Mesías in the 6th minute of play. Leo Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo-Nicolas von der Putten in the 8th minute of the match. Domingo Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Leo Franco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Gebrüdersdorfer SV booed when C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Gajewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislaw Tyszka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Ospin in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's zone, Lionel Mesías stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Franco came out of the goal and Lionel Mesías tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lionel Mesías scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Franco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo-Nicolas von der Putten was the one to do the kick off. Leo Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo-Nicolas von der Putten went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lionel Mesías might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lionel Mesías ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Franco stood somewhat misplaced when Lionel Mesías came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 57 minute. Stanislaw Tyszka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Francis in the 67th minute of play. If Prospero Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lionel Mesías succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 73rd playminute. A collision led to Gebrüdersdorfer SV getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dejan Attard hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Camillo Di Pietro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's zone, Lionel Mesías stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Franco came out of the goal and Lionel Mesías tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Lionel Mesías in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Lionel Mesías's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Franco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The C.A. BOCA JUNIORS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gebrüdersdorfer SV's performance. The match ended with a win for Gebrüdersdorfer SV.
