After 5 minutes, Jernej Petrovič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HIT Gorica and the FC Brzesko City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jernej Petrovič to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Zbyszko Kajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match, Kuzey Kırgız tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Konstantin Pančur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 15 minutes into the match, FC Brzesko City's Arkadiusz Kajder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantin Pančur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute Kuzey Kırgız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstantin Pančur stood somewhat misplaced when Zbyszko Kajder came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Istok Šabotić to make the kick off. When Zbyszko Kajder, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 51 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Konstantin Pančur was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Quentin Willmott fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HIT Gorica's protests and gave Quentin Willmott a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Quentin Willmott hit a great ball. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Brzesko City's Kuzey Kırgız. But to his dismay, Kuzey Kırgız quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 61 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Kajder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Konstantin Pančur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Kajder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the HIT Gorica defense, Kuzey Kırgız kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstantin Pančur. The HIT Gorica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstantin Pančur should have stopped the shot. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Rastislav Tomič replaced Jernej Petrovič. HIT Gorica made a substitution. László Tar replaced Zlatko Goričan. 74 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Alphonso Davies came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Brite McCready got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konstantin Pančur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszko Kajder went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Kuzey Kırgız received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Konstantin Pančur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanek Wojtyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Tar in the 90th minute of play. Konstantin Pančur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Kajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. FC Brzesko City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
