Semir Jakubović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Predators's Marcel Freitas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyryl Bojanowski got free with Jardel Sanches in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 30th minute of play forced Predators's goalkeeper Semir Jakubović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Predators's goalkeeper Semir Jakubović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, one of Predators:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Predators. The referee gave Grêmio FBPA a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Filiph Biörling, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Predators's Semir Jakubović. 1-3. Zbyszko Glembin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Alberto Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çakır Baycan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Semir Jakubović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Semir Jakubović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hamit Babürşah made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Saltuk Rahmi. Grêmio FBPA's Ted Hoogenkamp was substituted for Filiph Biörling. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Bojanowski in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Çakır Baycan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Grêmio FBPA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
