Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Vipos FC from getting a goal against them. Vítor Damas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Castanheira in the 9th minute of the match. Gervasio Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Cigaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Sá in the 23rd minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Fidel Jokin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vipos FC's Miguel Castanheira got a free kick in the 28th minute. Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Castanheira in the 31st minute of play. Vipos FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Esquadrão Lusitano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Castanheira took the corner. The corner ended in Nasos Aquilino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas did a great save. Vítor Damas came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Vipos FC's Fidel Jokin. But to his dismay, Fidel Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gaspar Acuña hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Cristiano Cigaran struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gervasio Ixaka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquadrão Lusitano. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Vipos FC booed when Esquadrão Lusitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Tạ Bom hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Sá to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rui Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Ixaka. Vipos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Vítor Damas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mayer Candelo. The audience was convinced that Fidel Jokin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Damas was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Cigaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Sá in the 65th minute of play. Vipos FC's Miguel Castanheira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vítor Damas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 86 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Cigaran came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Cigaran in the 86th minute of play. Vítor Damas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Jokin's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Rui Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gervasio Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Sá came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Vipos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vipos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
