Best Castray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Vieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Pueblo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Frits Heinel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARGIES. ARGIES's Best Castray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Silenzi in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match, Pierre-Antoine Naudon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frits Heinel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. ARGIES's Best Castray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluigi Lentini in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Juan Pueblo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARGIES and the Palestra14 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Juan Pueblo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Antoine Naudon came free, but Frits Heinel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Palestra14 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Andrea Silenzi made the kick off in the second half. Best Castray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Silenzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The attack was good, but when Juan Pueblo in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Palestra14 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nino Sócrates hit a great ball. Best Castray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Silenzi in the 65th minute of the match. Best Castray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Silenzi in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Pueblo in the 73rd minute of play forced Palestra14's goalkeeper Frits Heinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre-Antoine Naudon in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frits Heinel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Palestra14 defense, Juan Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frits Heinel. The Palestra14 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frits Heinel should have stopped the shot. Best Castray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Silenzi in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Antoine Naudon in the 84th minute of play forced Palestra14's goalkeeper Frits Heinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ARGIES booed when Palestra14 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nino Sócrates didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuele Bartolomucci hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Frits Heinel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, ARGIES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Andrea Silenzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Best Castray was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrea Silenzi in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Best Castray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
