Spectators: 190 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Argyris Zagorakis started the match with the kick off. When Aaron Walker fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored St. James Gate F.C.'s protests and gave Aaron Walker a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Walker hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Argyris Zagorakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Hewney Kirby recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kıvanç Yücesan. Hewney Kirby showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute Argyris Zagorakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argyris Zagorakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brigid Rutherford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Argyris Zagorakis ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Argyris Zagorakis in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brigid Rutherford saved St. James Gate F.C. from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Argyris Zagorakis made a precise shot to the right of Brigid Rutherford. St. James Gate F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Barhart Costello kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Zagorakis came free, but Brigid Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Pfullendorf's Karel Van Den Abeele got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Argyris Zagorakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes St. James Gate F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Moya who took care of the corner kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pearse McWilliam to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hewney Kirby during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when St. James Gate F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hewney Kirby didn't get a good kick on the ball. St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Zagorakis in the 53rd minute of play. Argyris Zagorakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Pfullendorf getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. David Moya hit a great ball. SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 was substituted for Argyris Zagorakis. After a rather tough play, SC Pfullendorf's David Moya got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, 彭森银 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brigid Rutherford came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Pfullendorf's Miguel Rodríguez. But to his dismay, Miguel Rodríguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 彭森银 scored 1-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brigid Rutherford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barhart Costello charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barhart Costello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to St. James Gate F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Barhart Costello hit a great ball. 彭森银 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Brigid Rutherford made a huge save. Brigid Rutherford made an important save on a dangerous shot by 彭森银 in the 76th minute. Brigid Rutherford was a little too slow when 彭森银 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-4. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, 彭森银 took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Brigid Rutherford to make any attempt to save it. Brigid Rutherford made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when 彭森银 sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford got control of the ball when 彭森银 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St. James Gate F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. During the 96th minute of the match Barhart Costello completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barhart Costello a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
