The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Berkin Güdü the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lithuanian amber protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Berkin Güdü had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Lithuanian amber:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Idrottsklubben -03:s goal. Damazy Mitus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Groth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Pär Odén made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lithuanian amber's Damazy Mitus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Osvaldo Bero kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Forssell came free, but Damazy Mitus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lithuanian amber's Åke Lindström got a free kick in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Damazy Mitus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Salkvist. After a rather tough play, Lithuanian amber's Osvaldo Bero got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Kristian Törnqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Idrottsklubben -03 got a freekick which was hit by Folke Forssell. Pär Groth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Damazy Mitus made a huge save. If Åke Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pär Odén got free with Damazy Mitus in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lithuanian amber made a substitution. Vidmantas Ubartas replaced Åke Lindström. After 80 minutes Idrottsklubben -03's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cayetano Pagomari who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vidmantas Ubartas in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Törnqvist saved Idrottsklubben -03 from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Vidmantas Ubartas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Törnqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
