Spectators: 190 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pearse McWilliam started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tipper Savic got free with Cenk Senih in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brigid Rutherford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Smitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Hewney Kirby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Cenk Senih made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Miguel Baumer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brigid Rutherford. St. James Gate F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Baumer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, FC GILSAA's goal looked a bit too open when Hewney Kirby came free, but Cenk Senih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Cristian Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, FC GILSAA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Hindsberg to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Tipper Savic in the 23rd minute of play was well struck, but Cenk Senih made a really good save at the right post. In the 25th minute Barhart Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Senih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ted in the 29th minute of play. Hans Smitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Brigid Rutherford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cenk Senih made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pearse McWilliam in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ted in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brigid Rutherford saved St. James Gate F.C. from getting behind. Brigid Rutherford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Ted went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Bray Moran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ditlef Redsø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brigid Rutherford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of FC GILSAA booed when St. James Gate F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pearse McWilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brigid Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Baumer in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half FC GILSAA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Ted was the one to do the kick off. Finn Bjerringgaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Brigid Rutherford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC GILSAA booed when St. James Gate F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hewney Kirby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 played minutes St. James Gate F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Burke Martyn. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barnaby Bayes during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, one of St. James Gate F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. St. James Gate F.C.:s Brigid Rutherford showed great skill when he stopped Ditlef Redsø:s penalty. In the 68th minute, Cristian Ted ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brigid Rutherford was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 75th minute Hewney Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Senih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hewney Kirby in the 78th minute of play forced FC GILSAA's goalkeeper Cenk Senih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Pearse McWilliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC GILSAA's Cenk Senih was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s goalkeeper Brigid Rutherford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Smitt. After 88 played minutes FC GILSAA got a freekick which was hit by Hans Smitt. Brigid Rutherford was a little too slow when Cristian Ted got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-4. Cristian Ted could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Brigid Rutherford made a huge save.
