Lithuanian amber were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after St. James Gate F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cayetano Pagomari took the corner. The corner led Lithuanian amber's Arnas Bacys to fire away a dangerous shot which Brigid Rutherford despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Damazy Mitus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hewney Kirby in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes in the game, Åke Lindström dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hewney Kirby in the 20th minute of play forced Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Damazy Mitus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Åke Lindström notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford. Brigid Rutherford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute Victor Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tipper Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Lindström in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brigid Rutherford saved St. James Gate F.C. from getting behind. After 32 minutes of play, Lithuanian amber's Victor Ortle made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brigid Rutherford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lithuanian amber's Damazy Mitus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearse McWilliam in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Åke Lindström notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford. Brigid Rutherford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rowland McDecland was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, St. James Gate F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowland McDecland to maneuver through the defense. Cayetano Pagomari struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Brigid Rutherford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lithuanian amber. Brigid Rutherford was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Åke Lindström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. Brigid Rutherford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ortle in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Lindström in the 53rd minute of play forced St. James Gate F.C.'s goalkeeper Brigid Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brigid Rutherford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Lindström went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Saulius Mikalajūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lithuanian amber's Damazy Mitus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barhart Costello in the 61st minute of play. Brigid Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saulius Mikalajūnas in the 63rd minute of the match. When Lithuanian amber's Åke Lindström in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St. James Gate F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saulius Mikalajūnas in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Åke Lindström came free, but Brigid Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arnas Bacys came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lithuanian amber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnas Bacys couldn't finish the play. Brigid Rutherford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saulius Mikalajūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidmantas Ubartas in the 92nd minute of play. Brigid Rutherford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidmantas Ubartas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Lithuanian amber were the better team. Lithuanian amber's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
