In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Melin got free with Lennart Juhlin in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mahoma Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ludwig Hägg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pauliström's Malcolm Wall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Näver in the 24th minute of play forced Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Neville Staples managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alexander Lundström in the 27 minute of the game. When Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Ludwig Hägg in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Ivar Björklund took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Lennart Juhlin to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the match, Ludwig Hägg notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Pauliström's Malcolm Wall. Malcolm Wall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Malcolm Wall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludwig Hägg's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

Lennart Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Näver, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ludwig Hägg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Andberg in the 59th minute of play forced Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Malcolm Wall threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ludwig Hägg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Malcolm Wall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Dawid Watarz was substituted for Demesio Faxardo. Malcolm Wall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Saint Glenn Gothenburg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
