Dacian Iurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Kafka in the 7th minute of the match. Berea Luca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Lautaro L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Ayudha á Bø. In the 16th minute Rodion Cămătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Berea's goalkeeper Dacian Iurea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro L.P.'s Andolín Echeandía got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Andolín Echeandía left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lautaro L.P. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Andolín Echeandía notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Berea's Dacian Iurea. Dacian Iurea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dacian Iurea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andolín Echeandía in the 40th minute of play. FC Berea's Dacian Iurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andolín Echeandía in the 42nd minute of play. If Andolín Echeandía had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Lautaro L.P. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dacian Iurea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andolín Echeandía showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andolín Echeandía kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dacian Iurea. That made the score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. When Codruț Plop fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Berea's protests and gave Codruț Plop a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, FC Berea's Dacian Iurea got control of the ball when Andolín Echeandía tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro L.P.'s Fulco Urra was substituted for Franz Kafka. Lautaro L.P.'s Damián Angulo was substituted for Andolín Echeandía. Danilo Euloxu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Damián Angulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goalkeeper Dacian Iurea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damián Angulo. After 73 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Victor Rotariu. Damián Angulo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacian Iurea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. If Damián Angulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Rotariu to maneuver through the defense. When Lautaro L.P.'s Damián Angulo in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Dărmănescu couldn't finish the play. Lautaro L.P.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
