An unexpectedly hard shot by Andolín Echeandía in the 22nd minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael with Wang Peng as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 30 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gary Medel came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Fulco Urra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Zhang Hao Qing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Taltum FC's Ralf Albäck was substituted for Flavio Cifuentes. Lautaro L.P.'s Salvador Ortega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Lautaro L.P. from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Andolín Echeandía shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hao Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper Salvador Ortega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Cavenaghi. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mattias Wickander hit a great ball. The Taltum FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lautaro L.P. were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ralf Albäck to make the kick off. Salvador Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Albäck in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Ayudha á Bø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qi Jun Xiang hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Lautaro L.P.'s Leandro Marques was substituted for Reşit Beyan. Zhang Hao Qing made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Fulco Urra sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Albäck in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Ortega saved Lautaro L.P. from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Leandro Marques reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zhang Hao Qing. The goal made the score 1-3. When Taltum FC's Ralf Albäck in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lautaro L.P.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urko Vinuesa to maneuver through the defense. Fulco Urra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Zhang Hao Qing made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Lautaro L.P.'s zone, Espinosa Marco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Ortega came out of the goal and Espinosa Marco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. He Sang Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Ortega having to interfere. Taltum FC's attentive Mattias Wickander managed to snatch the ball when Eugenio Irisarri made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Lautaro L.P.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
