The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes of play, Lavindsgaarde FC's Elias Panling made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attila Mesterházy was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Tamás Havasi put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lavindsgaarde FC:s goal. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Lavindsgaarde FC. Lavritz Sommur stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Attila Mesterházy. 0-2. Attila Mesterházy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gotfred Leismann's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Gotfred Leismann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attila Mesterházy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Lavindsgaarde FC's Anders Havreland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Lavindsgaarde FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gotfred Leismann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attila Mesterházy was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 27th minute Máté Elek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Havreland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lavindsgaarde FC's Anders Havreland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Elek in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Christian Kilstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anders Havreland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Lavindsgaarde FC's Anders Havreland got control of the ball when Christian Kilstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gotfred Leismann in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bertel Olson was slow to take the kick. During this time Lavindsgaarde FC's players had a chance to rest. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gotfred Leismann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Kilstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Attila Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lavritz Sommur, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Lavindsgaarde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karel Suryoprayogo came free, but Anders Havreland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Kilstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the last second Attila Mesterházy throw himself and got hold of the ball when Elias Panling in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A hard shot 68 in the game by Gotfred Leismann from a close distance when the talented Attila Mesterházy managed to make a qualified save. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's players were relieved. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's László Csank was substituted for Christian Kilstedt. In the 72nd minute of the match, Gotfred Leismann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Attila Mesterházy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 72 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by Mátyás Virág. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gotfred Leismann got free with Attila Mesterházy in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the game, Gotfred Leismann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Attila Mesterházy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Máté Elek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Anders Havreland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Panling scored 0-5 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attila Mesterházy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lavritz Sommur in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Lavritz Sommur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attila Mesterházy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The Lavindsgaarde FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lavindsgaarde FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
