Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Normando Fiúza in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Emil Dunajski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silverio Corderun. Emil Dunajski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With 16 minutes on the clock, Miguel Sequeira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Miguel Sequeira hit a great ball. Meng Yan Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverio Corderun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ye Hong in the 37th minute. After 39 minutes Tasso FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jiang Sang Qing who took care of the corner kick. Jiang Sang Qing made a great header on Abandon All Hope's corner, it was just that Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Normando Fiúza was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's Normando Fiúza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meng Yan Jing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Normando Fiúza kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Silverio Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Filipkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Normando Fiúza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meng Yan Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Hong in the 65th minute of play. Waldir Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Filipkowski in the 70th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê de Castro's late challenge caught a Tasso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê de Castro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Abandon All Hope's Dedê de Castro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Normando Fiúza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tasso FC's Diego Antunes was substituted for Caio Mendes. In the 89th minute, Richard Dawkins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Meng Yan Jing. The goal made the score 1-1. Tasso FC's Richard Dawkins got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
