Raul Erramun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pelagius Cofresi having to make a save. In the 20th match minute, R.B Leipzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertran Unzueta to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, R.B Leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Goel Mahal came free, but Pelagius Cofresi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelagius Cofresi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Kauldi in the 23rd minute of play. Pelagius Cofresi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goel Mahal in the 25th minute of the match. Alvarez Arredondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Nicolas Blanco made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Donatello Beyzania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelagius Cofresi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Kauldi's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Pelagius Cofresi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Alvarez Arredondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelagius Cofresi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Erramun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donatello Beyzania hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The R.B Leipzig players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anga FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Firmo Tigero made a kick off. A collision led to R.B Leipzig getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Donostia Tuero hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Raul Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelagius Cofresi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Ricardo Ferrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Anga FC's Omar Estevon got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Alvarez Arredondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goel Mahal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. R.B Leipzig made a substitution. After 88th play minutes Antonio Nordby shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Pelagius Cofresi and just under the crossbar into goal. Anga FC's Prudencio Mónos got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pelagius Cofresi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Nordby in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute Anga FC were awarded a corner. Mateo Piorno went to the cornerflag to take it.
