An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Pååk in the 4th minute of play forced Monkey D.Luffy's goalkeeper Camillo Ruggieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Castagna made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arrigo Cino immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arrigo Cino in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Alebom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camillo Ruggieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Pååk in the 15th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Nicklas Lindgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Östavall and the Monkey D.Luffy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Nicklas Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Alebom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Cino in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute Thomas Pååk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Ruggieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Monkey D.Luffy defense, Thomas Pååk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camillo Ruggieri. The Monkey D.Luffy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camillo Ruggieri should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Thomas Pååk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Camillo Ruggieri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Cino in the 39th minute of play forced Östavall's goalkeeper Jonatan Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östavall's attentive Thomas Pååk managed to snatch the ball when Bernardo Giancola made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arrigo Cino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute Arrigo Cino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Östavall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Anselius to maneuver through the defense. When Arrigo Cino came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Monkey D.Luffy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arrigo Cino couldn't finish the play. In the 61st match minute, Östavall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Anselius to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Östavall's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Cino came free, but Jonatan Alebom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Sandell succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. If Ennio Colombi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Cino in the 71st minute of play forced Östavall's goalkeeper Jonatan Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Cino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Montaldi charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Montaldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonatan Alebom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Cino, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Colombi in the 91st minute of play forced Östavall's goalkeeper Jonatan Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Ennio Colombi notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Östavall's Jonatan Alebom. Jonatan Alebom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven Anselius hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Östavall supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Östavall would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
