After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Omid Kaulbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corneliu Dridu in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Estavan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corneliu Dridu to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meng Qiang Liang in the 68th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Da Guía's late challenge caught a INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Da Guía helped the player get up and apologised. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Marcial Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Panda Moerdani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fully deserved thier win.
