The corner ended in Omar Orlan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nova Soccer's José Carvallo did a great save. José Carvallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Iratze in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Gatell. José Carvallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Neila in the 21st minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Neila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. José Carvallo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Marcial Estavan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 32ndth minute of the game Omar Orlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Soccer's José Carvallo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Lucas Horna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Edinson Flores. If Dagoberto Neila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Herminio Iratze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carvallo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Dagoberto Neila succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Dagoberto Neila scored 0-5 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Carvallo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Nova Soccer players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. INDEPENDIENTE F.C. were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Neila to make the kick off. Herminio Iratze's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, José Carvallo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. José Carvallo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Neila in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Herminio Iratze took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for José Carvallo to make any attempt to save it. José Carvallo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Iratze went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Omar Orlan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Carvallo. Nova Soccer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Omar Orlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Orlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Carvallo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Carvallo was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Dagoberto Neila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dagoberto Neila really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 76 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Neila came free, but José Carvallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Hyuga in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Estavan saved INDEPENDIENTE F.C. from getting behind. José Carvallo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dagoberto Neila went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
