In the 17thth minute of the game Oscar Drake who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KKP Spasione Kocury's Mariusz Modrzewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hannes Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Hall in the 20th minute of play. Oscar Drake blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariusz Modrzewski having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Hall in the 24th minute of play forced Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper Hannes Sandwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Oscar Drake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Modrzewski. KKP Spasione Kocury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Drake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Drake got free with Mariusz Modrzewski in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hanna Tutaj kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sabin Zubiaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hannes Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KKP Spasione Kocury's Mariusz Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Drake in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper Hannes Sandwall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Felipe Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Foxes Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

KKP Spasione Kocury's Szczepan Kocieniewski was substituted for Gez Hall. 52 minutes into the match, KKP Spasione Kocury's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Drake came free, but Mariusz Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Drake in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariusz Modrzewski saved KKP Spasione Kocury from getting behind.
