Rubén Martínezs short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Stamatis Bountos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rubén Martínez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Stamatis Bountos made a huge save. Stamatis Bountos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bad Company's Spyros Dimitriou got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konstantinos Psalidas's late challenge caught a Colo-Colo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantinos Psalidas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, FC Bad Company was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Psalidas to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Rubén Martínez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Bad Company's Stamatis Bountos. Stamatis Bountos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rubén Martínez came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Colo-Colo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubén Martínez couldn't finish the play. Rambo Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spyros Dimitriou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Spyros Dimitriou came free, but Rambo Ramírez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Avram Chițac got a free kick in the 41st minute. Rambo Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Raftis in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 92nd minute, Ivo Basay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stamatis Bountos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Colo-Colo fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Bad Company had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
