Rambo Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Gonzo in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Gonzo in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rambo Ramírez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Scotland 1873's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonel Gonzo in the 13th minute. After 17 played minutes Scotland 1873 got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Jeffrey. Breno Bastos made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rubén Martínez sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Ronald Jeffrey in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colo-Colo's Lalo Vilchez. Rambo Ramírez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Colo-Colo's Rubén Martínez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Jerico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ermegildo Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rambo Ramírez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colo-Colo's Jerzy Smolak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ronald Jeffrey, made in the 54th minute of the game.
