The corner led Pomona AFC's Sander Bust to fire away a dangerous shot which Yao Ming Yun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Pomona AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Haroldo Fernandez hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Sander Bust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Ming Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pomona AFC booed when Umbekannt87 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Telmo came out of the goal and Fernan Llorian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Amador Patxis short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Yao Ming Yun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Umbekannt87's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Padro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yao Ming Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Sugar in the 73rd minute of play. Amador Patxi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Yao Ming Yun made a huge save.
