Jan Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egídio Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Iggy Costacurta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A.100Qualidade and the Büyükçekmece FC. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, A.A.100Qualidade's Iggy Costacurta got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jan Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Quirino having to interfere. In the 38th minute Jan Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, one of A.A.100Qualidade:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alvar Vester walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Persson in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The referee gave Büyükçekmece FC. a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alvar Vester, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A.A.100Qualidade's Egídio Quirino. 0-4. A nice corner shot did that Bishop Fazey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Egídio Quirino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Emrah Baysoy was substituted for Alvar Vester.
