Arsenio Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Antonio Gora's late challenge caught a Plaza Jewell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Plaza Jewell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zabal Ubeda to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Mei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Belyaninov in the 30th minute of the match. Arsenio Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Diniz in the 35th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Amato in the 99th minute of play. Robinho Recife hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. Armando Azibar struck a weak shot in the 101st minute. Arsenio Manni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaza Jewell.
