The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Donato Foddis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Lundgren in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Lukas Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Foddis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Pekko Rino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Angel Xabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Lukas Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Foddis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Donato Foddis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Aguero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Collins's Donato Foddis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Lundgren in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to POSSE 1911 FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Osmar Saldanha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pekko Rino in the 28th minute of play forced POSSE 1911 FC's goalkeeper Angel Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AC Collins getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Didi Valletta hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lukas Lundgren was the one to do the kick off. Donato Foddis was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Sérgio Aguero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sérgio Aguero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Sérgio Aguero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Foddis came out and tried to block the shot, but Sérgio Aguero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, AC Collins's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sérgio Aguero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 64th minute, Lukas Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angel Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mel Önen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. AC Collins's Donato Foddis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Lundgren in the 71st minute of play. Mincho Shahanov kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Zygmunt Pisarczyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Xabel skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Lukas Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POSSE 1911 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho do Nascimento in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Aguero got free with Donato Foddis in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. POSSE 1911 FC's Lukas Lundgren got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mel Önen in the 86th minute of play. A wasted opportunity for AC Collins. The supporters of AC Collins booed when POSSE 1911 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavi Guardiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mel Önen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mel Önen charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mel Önen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. POSSE 1911 FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
