Emanuel Grammet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 16th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Fox Hunting Squad's Pontus Nordström threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jozef Gielis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emanuel Grammet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Santa Margarita were awarded a corner. Eduardo De Francesco went to the cornerflag to take it. Fox Hunting Squad's Emanuel Grammet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Nic Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Gerardo Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Grammet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo De Francesco, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Eduardo De Francesco fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Margarita's protests and gave Eduardo De Francesco a yellow card for diving instead. Eduardo De Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Emanuel Grammet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andréas Hasselqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Lordi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nic Adams in the 50th minute of the match. After 52 minutes Santa Margarita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joachim Vleminx who took care of the corner kick. 55 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Romain Berrewouts came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Lordi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Grammet came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Lordi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 57th minute. Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi was substituted for Witomir Pisarczyk. Eduardo De Francesco lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Fox Hunting Squad booed when Santa Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo De Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Dheedene in the 64th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Fox Hunting Squad got a freekick which was hit by Nic Adams. Klaus Mohammadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klaus Mohammadi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Wendell Davids replaced Enzo Peruxu. Mauro Icardi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef Gielis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Aaron Mikolas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fox Hunting Squad the free kick. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Santa Margarita! 95 minutes into the match, Mauro Icardi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fox Hunting Squad's Emanuel Grammet. Emanuel Grammet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santa Margarita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
