Rüstem Akatay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The BANDOLEIROS osasco fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when BANDOLEIROS osasco's Billy Sandström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the match, Billy Sandström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüstem Akatay. DEMİREL.FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Sandström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Karl Pilgren got control of the ball when Aykan İskenderoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. BANDOLEIROS osasco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kleber Chalas in the 31st minute. The corner led to BANDOLEIROS osasco's Benedito Valentim getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 34th minute Billy Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüstem Akatay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Atalan Yay in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BANDOLEIROS osasco's Maicon Marinho. In the 41st minute Bayındır Sarıkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Yusuf Ziya Altınkaya got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Billy Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 81 minutes, José Augusto Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BANDOLEIROS osasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Augusto Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Paul Crouch's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rüstem Akatay firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEMİREL.FC's goalkeeper Rüstem Akatay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Paul Crouch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rüstem Akatay. That made the score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Atalan Yay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Paul Crouch struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rüstem Akatay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BANDOLEIROS osasco.
