Papillon AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Birila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Florin Lopatnicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SlaYerS's goalie prevented a goal. Gustavo Birila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SlaYerS's Gustaw Czerwinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Papillon AC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Zosimo Vadillo hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Nurlan Salmanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Van Damme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Van Damme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Saturnin's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Jerano in the 21st minute of play forced SlaYerS's goalkeeper Gustaw Czerwinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaw Czerwinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Birila's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Papillon AC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gustavo Birila sped through SlaYerS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustaw Czerwinski. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nurlan Salmanov in the 37th minute of play. Gustavo Birila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the SlaYerS defense, Gustavo Birila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaw Czerwinski. The SlaYerS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaw Czerwinski should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Emiliano Nardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustaw Czerwinski. SlaYerS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Nardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Gustavo Birila made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Emiliano Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papillon AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Nardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Czerwinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaw Czerwinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Papillon AC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after SlaYerS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Birila took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustaw Czerwinski. That made the score 0-6 after 68 minutes of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Gustavo Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 83rd minute, Sergio Jerano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustaw Czerwinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Gustaw Czerwinski made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Sergio Jerano sent off a good shot on target. Papillon AC's Zosimo Vadillo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustaw Czerwinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Papillon AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
