With a left leg Ezequiel Centurión saved La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】 from getting behind. Adrian Neubauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Centurión having to interfere. FC Temeswar Banat's Aimé Holtmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepe Sand in the 30th minute of play. Aimé Holtmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Mon in the 32nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pepe Sand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aimé Holtmann was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Ezequiel Centurión made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agapito Diaz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Justo Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Neubauer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Agapito Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Centurión saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aimé Holtmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Dybala in the 67th minute of the match. Aimé Holtmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulinho Dybala went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Justo Mon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aimé Holtmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Dybala, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Adrian Neubauer came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC Temeswar Banat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Neubauer couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Centurión showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】 made a substitution. Hazim Sarajlić replaced Dan Ambauen. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Temeswar Banat fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Gervasio Valiente walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Adrian Neubauer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Ezequiel Centurión when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adrian Neubauer got in the 90th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Ezequiel Centurión. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-2. After a rather tough play, La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Federico Eyague got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Marcelo Phelipe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aimé Holtmann. FC Temeswar Banat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Phelipe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
