After a defensive mix-up in Santoryu FC's zone, Nikolaj Pulishvili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercole Carnevale came out of the goal and Nikolaj Pulishvili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When FC TSKALSADENI's Anatoly Chebaevskiy in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santoryu FC's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anatoly Chebaevskiy came free, but Ercole Carnevale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Santoryu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Teodoro Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amerigo Minicucci hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Santoryu FC's Angelo Lazzaro got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anatoly Chebaevskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. FC TSKALSADENI's Thodoris Sotiriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Grzelak in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Anatoly Chebaevskiy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ercole Carnevale, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of FC TSKALSADENI booed when Santoryu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Nero in the 88th minute of play forced FC TSKALSADENI's goalkeeper Thodoris Sotiriou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea Muciaccia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thodoris Sotiriou having to make a save. After 93 played minutes FC TSKALSADENI got a freekick which was hit by Erdoğan Sanih. In the 96th match minute, FC TSKALSADENI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirian Machaidze to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Santoryu FC's Andrea Muciaccia tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Santoryu FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
